It is likely that a Windows 7 driver doesn't exist, but unless you have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 this driver should work one way or another. Give it a try - if it doesn't work or won't install, then post back to this solution and I will help you further.

This driver is supposed to be for Windows XP but should work for Windows 7 32 bit OS.

They key is to uninstall everything, including searching through the Registry to delete everything. I finally bought a new Centronix-to-USB and a new parallel port card, used Windows 32-bit, and problem solved. It does not play well with a Centronix-to-USB cable or with Windows 64-bit. If that doesn't work, and nothing else works, reinstall Windows, that should fix the problem as a last resort. See if you can change it useing the settings for the dirver. If your LPT port is using it's own driver (not using BIOS to run) you cant change the settings using the BIOS. There are a number of different options that can be selected, just try them one by one, the one that worked for me was 'Normal' try that one first, but it may be differnet depending on the printer.
